All our properties are aimed at those on lower to medium incomes who are employed in essential public service sector roles and may otherwise find it difficult to access appropriate housing options in the city. Council has committed to providing 1,000 Te Kāinga affordable rental apartments in the next five years.

Te Kāinga 203 Willis Street - the second building in Wellington City Council’s affordable rental programme - is now open for viewings.

Due for completion by the end of May, the 203 Willis Street building will provide another 48, high quality, one and two bedroom apartments. There are apartments to suit singles, couples and families. The buildng has a mix of 1 & 2 bedroom rental apartments that include:

  • Rubbish disposal
