The City of Impact and Change

This is the first time the Mayor of Wellington hasn’t previously been a city councillor, since Mark Blumsky took office 27 years ago. That signifies a clean break from the past. I don’t have any Council baggage. I haven’t yet made any decisions around the council table. But I do support a lot of the Council work planned and underway. ….
…. Cities around the world are changing – some for the worse, some for the better. Wellington is on the cusp of exciting, transformational change. Change that needs to happen. Change that our communities have asked for. I think it’s time we stop trying to be a little city – cool or otherwise. Let’s be the City of Impact. ….
