Roadworks in your area – Willis Street

We will now be starting on Wednesday 25 January and working for 3 shifts – Wednesday 25, Thursday 26 and Sunday 29.  The road closure will be in place from 7:30pm and we’ll be working through to the early hours. Bus services will be detoured in accordance with our closure.

What’s Happening?

This is to advise you of upcoming road resurfacing which will have a finished asphalt surface. Asphalt is dark in colour consisting of bitumen and aggregate which is mixed off site. It is applied hot to the prepared road surface and compacted smooth by rolling. This is to let you know that work will start soon.

    Monday 30th January, 2023

    *Note this work is planned for the nights of Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. There will be no work on Friday or Saturday nights*

  • WORK HOURS
    Between 7pm and 5am

This work is weather dependent and in the event of unsuitable weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work will possibly be delayed.
