WCC 2022 Elections - what is being said about Earthquake-Prone Buildings?

ICW UPDATE - Wellington City Council 2022 Elections - what is being said about Earthquake-Prone Buildings?
The following is an update from Geraldine Murphy - ICW's spokesperson on seismic matters.

Kia ora koutou

On our ICW website, we have just added this document:

It collates the responses from 35 candidates to three questions on the impacts of the earthquake-prone legislation on Wellington apartment owners.

The purpose of canvassing candidates for their views is to provide additional information, particularly to apartment owners, for voters in the forthcoming elections.

An overview sheet, and a more detailed summary of the issues, were provided to candidates, with the questions.

The Earthquake-prone buildings page on our website also presents these associated documents:

ICW understands that the campaign period is a busy time for candidates and appreciates their efforts to respond.

Good luck with your decision-making.
