Founded in 2011, The Performance Arcade is a free, award-winning festival of live art, music and performance on the Wellington Waterfront. Over the course of two weeks The Performance Arcade welcomes 60-90,000 people to experience this free event.
Open directly to the bustling life of the Wellington Waterfront, our iconic shipping containers are sites of engagement - bringing world class art and performance to the public outside the constraints of a gallery or theatre space.
Every year, an exciting selection of performance and installation works from acclaimed performance artists sit alongside a line-up of Aotearoa’s best live music.
