Earthquake-strengthening - ICW advocating for apartment owners

Geraldine Murphy, of residents’ group Inner City Wellington, said apartment owners needed security that earthquake standards wouldn’t be changed again without more support being provided.

“It’s not acceptable that these owners who are losing their homes and savings then have to face it again if they find another apartment which is also earthquake-prone,” she said.
