The voice of Te Aro & Wellington Central who promotes sustainable development and local democracy Inner-City Wellington. We seek to serve as a progressive and influential voice of and for the residential community in the suburbs of Te Aro and Wellington Central.
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT ABOUT?
To build better connectedness for inner-city dwellers in vertical communities (apartment dwellers) and in-turn grow the presence for Inner-City Wellington Association authentically.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
There is a lack of connection between neighbours and lack of sense of community in neighbourhoods.
SOLUTION?
A series of posters around wellington city 14th Sept - 20th Sept which pose challenges to inner-city dwellers, encouraging them to think about their community and act on it.
Soon to be Facebook competition released which gives the winner a budget to throw a community event - supported by Inner-City.
This project is run by Annabel Cave for The Inner-City Wellington Association and supported by the Wellington City Council.
